Vasil Levski

Here's a time line of Vasil Levski's life:
- 1837 - Born in the Sub-Balkan town of Karlovo, Bulgaria
- 1855 - Go's to Stara Zagora, and attends in school and works as Basil's servant
- 1858 - Became an Orthodox Monk in Sopot monastery
- 1959 - Promoted to Hierodeacon
- 1862 - Left for the Serbian capital Belgrade. Abandoning his service as a monk, Levski enlisted as a volunteer in the First Bulgarian Legion
- 1862 - The Bulgarian Legion was disbanded under Ottoman pressure. Levski joined Ilyo Voyvoda's detachment at Kragujevac.
- 1863 - Returned to Bulgarian lands after a brief stay in Romania.
- 1864 – Worked for 2 years as a teacher in Voynyagovo near Karlovo.
- 1866 – Became the standard-bearer of Panayou Hitov’s detachment of the Bulgarian diaspora community in Romania.
- 1868 – Departed from Bucharest to Bulgaria to put in action his concept of an internal revolutionary network.
- 1870 – Spend year and a half establishing a wide network of secret committees in Bulgarian cities and villages.
- 1872 – Arrested on the morning of 27 December.
- 1873 - Hanged at age of 35
